Valley Orthopaedic Specialists
Valley Orthopaedic Specialists is a full-service orthopaedic practice dedicated to complete musculoskeletal care. With both general orthopedic surgeons and fellowship-trained specialists in total joint replacement, foot and ankle surgery, hand surgery, pediatric orthopedics, and sports medicine, we are the areas most comprehensive orthopedic surgery practice.
Getting hurt is painful enough. Our practice is dedicated to treating you with the highest of care. Our highly-trained staff makes a special effort to ensure that your office and surgery experience are as pleasant as possible. VOShas on-site X-Ray imaging to simplify and expedite your care, and our physical and occupational therapists are ready to assist in your pre- and post-operative rehabilitation needs.
Orthopaedic Surgery is the branch of medicine that deals in all facets of evaluation, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. We work on treating musculoskeletal problems resulting from birth, abnormal development, overuse or injury. Although we are trained as orthopedic surgeons most of the conditions we treat can be helped without surgical intervention. We offer onsite diagnostic x-rays, physical therapy, injections, casting and bracing services.

Office Hours
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Our Physical Therapy hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please feel free to specify the physician of your choice when calling for an appointment. In case of cancellations, please notify the receptionist as soon as possible. If necessary, same day appointments may be available.
Emergencies & After Hours
Call us at 203-734-7900. Our doctors are on-call twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. In case of life-threatening emergency, please dial 911.
What to Bring to Your First Appointment
Please bring your insurance card and your driver’s license or state ID. We will make a copy of your card so that your insurance claims will include correct information to ensure prompt payment by your insurer. Managed care companies frequently require a pre-authorization referral prior to being seen by a specialist. Please bring your referral from your primary care physician when you visit us or we may have to reschedule your appointment. If you have any questions about your care, please call and speak with a member of our staff.
Prescription Refills
Please call during office hours to request refills. Be sure to have the prescription number (Rx#) ready when you call. Our refill policy is that medications can only be prescribed by your treating physician, so please be sure and specify which physician you are seeing when you call. Narcotic prescriptions will not be refilled after hours or on weekends.
